Categorify is an AI product classifier for Shopify. Its AI automatically assigns Shopify product categories to your products as they're added or updated — through the Shopify admin or the API — so you don't lose hours to manual data entry. Who's behind Categorify

Categorify is run by Csaba Cserép, a serial entrepreneur who builds and operates online software businesses. He previously founded WP Full Pay, a WordPress payments plugin, which he sold in 2023, and today runs two other products alongside Categorify — Cloudhooks and Product Classifier. Earlier in his career he led the consulting firm Actiwise Consulting Ltd, a two-time winner of Deloitte's Fast 50 Central Europe award (2004 and 2006).

Categorify is developed and operated by Infinea Consulting Ltd, and distributed on the Shopify App Store.

Security & data handling

Categorify connects to your store through Shopify's OAuth and requests only the scopes it needs to read products and write category assignments. Product data is processed to generate categorizations, categorization history is retained for a limited period, and analytics identifiers are pseudonymized.
